Panel participant at PERC's Inaugural Renewable Propane Summit (Denver). Participant in OPIS' New Interview Series/Industry Experts: 10 Questions. 2016: Started monthly industry blog "The Heffron Blog" for Ray Energy newsletter.Previous employer: COMMERCIAL MGR. GAS SUPPLY RESOURCES/DUKE ENERGY/DCP MIDSTREAM. Led the change in the Northeast midstream propane supply infrastructure to include multiple, high-volume, rail transfer facilities. Marketed and managed distribution for multiple rail terminals. Rapid growth from several customers in 1995 to become lead marketer by accounts for the largest wholesale supplier of propane in the Northeast. Managed 50% of all accounts for Propane Logistics team $34 million EBITDA in 2013/2014. * MANAGER PROPANE SUPPLY AND MARKETING, GAS SUPPLY INC: Propane pipeline buyer in Belvieu and Conway, Cochin pipe supply, and rail supply from Edmonton. Bought supply from refineries, gas plants and marine terminals to support midstream sales in the Upper Midwest and Northeast, and to supply 15 mm gallons company retail operations in MN/WI. Brought the first, large quantities of term rail supply to the Rosemount MN terminal. Negotiated term supply deals in person with major oil companies/suppliers in Calgary AB (Amoco, Imperial, Kinetic Resources, Petro-Canada, Petrogas, Shell, Gibson) and negotiated rates with CP/SOO line railroads to support 100 mm gallon wholesale marketing efforts.
