Instrumental part of a team responsible for maintaining and creating scorecards for performance. Implemented a risk and misalignment scoring system for all equipment to identify and correct areas of greatest concern to drive consistency. Managed major projects totaling $11M for Front Load Horizontal and Top Load Vertical Axis Automatic Washer drums and baskets, which included presented 18 projects to management using a tollgate process to fund the front load washer drum fabrication line, which included multiple component and equipment design changes. Expanded Clyde operations by incorporating the drum fabrication line as part of a new product line to include front load horizontal axis washers previously produced outside of United States.Developed capital and expense budgets with spending forecasts and met all spending capital budget forecasts of $10.6M. Wrote specifications for selection of preferred providers as part of team of 12 working with international supplier base in Sweden and New Zealand.Developed Quality System for new drum as part of seven member team; planned daily monitoring of critical components and trained quality operators.Manufactured prototypes to confirm needed design changes for Top Load Vertical Axis-Integrated, a stainless steel grade change for the basket wrapper, while maintaining daily production, which resulted in project totaled $500k and was accomplished in eight months.Saved $3.8M annually by changing to reduced nickel content stainless steel grade; equipment changes were completed during one week of planned downtime.Designed manufacturing plans and created prototypes for testing. Improved line equipment efficiency to over 90% with fabrication line installed 90 feet from point of use of basket on Assembly Line. Led Turnkey project for first stainless steel basket fabrication line at Clyde Division that totaled $10M working with international suppliers from Sweden and US for new washer basket platform.
