Accomplished leader with an extensive background in private enterprise, communitydevelopment, planning, project management, consulting, economic and regional development, education, training and leadership initiatives. As a former national president of Parks & Leisure Australia, I led the Board on a strategic journey to create a long term vision for the industry and a complementary plan designed to achieve such vision. One of the most significant partnerships formed during that period was between PLA and Beyond Blue.Exceptional leadership skills with many of the initiatives developed through my role as a regional manager (in state government) still being used/adopted as a model for other regions and managers and/or as the benchmark today.Previously a partner (and director) in a company that has a license agreement with VitalSmarts (Utah) to market and sell its behavioural modification training products. Achieved a ranking of third (out of 20 licensees) in royalty payments in 2011 (took on the license in 2010).
