As Race Director, I am involved in overseeing the entire event management process, from initial concept development to post-event analysis. My goal is to deliver exceptional experiences for participants, spectators, and sponsors alike. In this position, I am responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the event, ensuring they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory standards. Through the Belle Isle New Year's Run, our mission is to assist with the advocacy, education, donations, and community support of local organizations that provide services to those who are in need of new beginning or a way of coping and overcoming.

Oversee all aspects of company website development, which include the updating and maintenance of content and graphics for both new and previously existing sites. Communicate with clients to determine timing needs and expectations for their event. Prepare and assemble race bibs, timing tags, and the database used in timing a road race. Serve as point person at events for participant data, timing system accuracy, problem solving, and verification and posting of final results. Track and detail the use of employee credit cards.- Instrumental in the creation of a web-based application, developed with PHP and MySQL, that tracks over 400 events of six associated timing companies; Capabilities include event checklists, equipment needs, timing tag orders, assigned personnel, and equipment status.- Handle the creation and execution of broadcast emails to promote various running events utilizing a database of over 20,000 participants.- Recognized by management for advanced skill level and efficiency.Gault Race Management and our team of qualified timers use ChronoTrack timing services, the most advanced technology available to time events of all sizes, from 250 to 30,000 participants. While the majority of GRM timed events are located in Michigan and the Midwest, we time and assist events throughout the nation, including such prestigious events as the Crim Festival of Races, City of Pittsburgh Marathon, Detroit Free Press International Marathon, St. Louis Marathon, Akron Marathon, and both the NCAA Division I and II National Cross Country Championships.

Served as Event Coordinator of Heat the Streets and Walk for Warmth for the City of Detroit and The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW). In charge of the planning, coordination, and execution of charitable events that raises awareness of and additional funds for low-income citizens of Detroit who are struggling to cover their increasing utility costs. Accountable for the training, direction, and supervision of appointed teams to accomplish goals set by the project timeline. Brought in over $180,000 in donations, recruited over 1600 participants and 200 volunteers within the first two years of operation.
