I have been working in the IT/Help Desk field for over 26 years now and I am currently serving as the IT Specialist for the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe. As the IT Specialist, I take on many roles (Server Admin, Network Admin, Exchange Admin, Web Site Maintenance and End User Support/Break Fix technician. I am not currently seeking out any new positions at this time.I have worked in various types of Support environments such as:• IT Help Desk - Providing First and Second Tier support to employees for various IT related issues such as Active Directory & Exchange account creation/support, supporting/troubleshooting issues with Office Applications like MS Office Suite on the Windows & Mac OS platforms, Laptop and desktop system hardware, Print Services and many other standard IT related tasks both in person and for remote users either by phone or through use of remote access/control software.• Software Technical Support – Providing customers with support for specific software packages and working with them to catalog usage and software break/fix problems and then working to resolve those issues with either instruction or software updates from the developers.I have excellent troubleshooting and research skills which allow me to:• Provide information to software developers so that they may develop updates or patches to resolve issues which I can then test and provide to the client to resolve their issue.• Provide client with information or guidance to resolve an issue directly either in the form of conversation or through written instructions via e-mail or support documentation.
