In addition to Clerk I duties:- Working with setup and logistics coordinator with room setup and takedown for large events, such as election days or large library programs, and utilizing the Intercept reservation system for reserving rooms by user request. - Collection Management as assigned by the circulation manager, with specializations in Graphic Novels and audiovisual materials, including analyzing checkout data and reviewing donations for possible inclusion into the collection. - Utilizing KOHA reports to pull materials for scheduled weeding or repurposing duplicates for other branches, and following general guidelines for deaccessioning materials.- Providing on-site troubleshooting for the system’s I.T. department on basic computer issues, Lioce group printer/coin-op systems, and TechLogic and formerly Bibliotheca RFID-based tools. - Training new employees on TechLogic systems, including best practices andsafety utilizing automated materials handler and RFID technology. Specialized Projects:- Strategic Planning - Participated on a team of 13 in determining the library’s state-mandated strategic plan for the 2024-2026 fiscal year. - Acted as a team leader on one objective for the library’s strategic plan regarding increasing internal program collaboration system-wide- Participated on a team of 7 manually reviewing library TV series holdings of over 3,000 individual records for the purpose of grouping similar records.

Duties Include:- Providing exemplary customer service for library users’ circulation issues, reference, and technology queries.- Maintaining organized and straightened shelves throughout all areas of the library in line with circulation team needs.- Educating library users on basic technological literacy and tools, such as Microsoft Office products, job searching, and research databases through AVL.- Undertaking daily operations in a collaboartive environemnt with a team of roughly 10-15 librarians, or 4-5 on weekends.
