I haven’t yet met anyone who says they *knew* they wanted to work in higher ed when they grew up, but that’s where I’ve spent most of my career. I’m not sure what career path would have been more obvious given my studies across information systems, business, and the humanities, but the transformation that happens through colleges and universities has kept me connected to this space for more than 20 years. I started out in higher ed working in IT roles focused on tech support and programming – great ways to see up close how people and technical systems fit together. My transition away from the tech side of the house came through the enrollment management function, where I managed my first teams and started to develop an understanding of the financial and operational systems that drive an institution. And as my career progressed, I loved seeing how my impact could be amplified across multiple teams through unit-level leadership roles. Serving schools in revenue-critical areas was really fulfilling, and I feel exceptionally fortunate to have gained that experience while learning from mentors and leaders at some of the most well-regarded business schools in the world. At Liaison, I work in the dynamic space of enrollment strategy, a blend of marketing, client support, and enablement where my role involves not just connecting people and best practices, but also identifying emerging trends and weaving them into actionable strategies that position leaders to succeed. I've really enjoyed the space I've been given by Liaison to find my creative and editorial voice, and I love the regular collaboration I have with talented, cross-functional teams to craft content that supports our user communities and empowers our membership development teams.I'm a relatively introspective and analytic person, have a quirky sense of humor, and am easy to get to know. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to connect.Favorite Things: Panel Moderation | Asking Big Questions | 90s Hip Hop | Leadership Conversations | Sour Patch Kids | Business Schools
