Chaired committe to create the Unified Plan for Butler County, a collaboration of businesses, agencies, and government to prioritize and promote initiatives that will benefit economic development and improve quality of life in Butler County. Earned the globally-recognized Certificate for Fundraising Executive (CFRE).Responsible for all aspects of prospecting for, writing, procuring and administering major grant initiatives. Also controlled Institutional Research, Strategic Planning, Government Relations and Theater activities. Effectively managed $650,000 Heinz Endowment grants on behalf of the Western PA Community College Resource Consortium. Assumed leadership of the new 445-seat, high-tech Succop Theater; instituted new policies and procedures for funding, ticketing and programming. Spearheaded the College’s participation in the state-wide Partnership for Regional Innovation of Manufacturing Education (PRIME); also managed over $3 million in funding from Heinz Endowments. Wrote and helped to administer a PA Workforce Challenge grant and created one of the first Associate Degree programs in Computer Forensics in the US.
