I began my career in education and coaching. Falling in love early with the opportunity to help people win. While in education I began to develop a program in a way of serving outside of the walls of my school to help create greater impact to help youth overcome their obstacles and chase their dreams. For 10 years, I worked alongside a growing number of amazing people to build and develop multiple curricula and organizational structuring to scale into a national non-profit serving youth throughout 8 States impacting nearly 10,000 youth during its existence. As the team and I navigated through the Pandemic this program was forced to end and required me to search for my next opportunity. I had the opportunity to join the efforts as a Director of another National Nonprofit called Dream On 3, with a primary focus on creating and building programming across the Collegiate landscape to not only serve the mission but with a heavy focus on leadership development. During my time at Dream On 3, I had the opportunity to build out and lead a team to scale this program from 4 universities to 20 universities in under 3 years to make over-the-top sports dreams come true for individuals living with life-altering conditions. As part of leadership, I was also heavily involved in the development and execution of the strategic expansion planning for the organization.In September of 2023, I made the transition into my current role at Always About People, LLC as a senior consultant with a focus in the workplace to help create cultures where people thrive. I am honored to work alongside executive leadership teams and leaders who have a heart for people, and a desire to create thriving cultures.Grateful for the journey, grateful for the challenges, and grateful to serve.
