=========================================NOT LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES AT THE MOMENT=========================================I am a chartered IT professional (MBCS CITP) and experienced teacher in the HE sector (HEA Fellow), with a background in web systems administration, design and development for a number of years. I’m also ITIL Foundation v4 qualified.My current role is within the University's web team, responsible for supporting a number of systems, as well as a number of standalone apps.I have worked with a variety web of technologies (HTML/XML/CSS/javascript/node/react), web systems engineering, software engineering, web server management(Apache/PHP/DBMS), development (shell, Perl, Ruby, PHP, C, Java, a little Swift and a smattering of others), systems administration(mostly OS X and Linux, but historically Windows too), wiki, wikipedia, mediawiki, memory, culture, curation, social media.My previous research interests were originally concerned with the engineering quality of web based systems and metrics to measure it. That expanded into several other areas, connected to memory, curation and archival.
