My approach to business mirrors my approach to life: foster effective communication in all interactions, continuously expand my knowledge base, and prioritize honesty above all else!Professional Life:I’ve been blessed to travel many professional paths in my 15+ years of working experience. Beginning with residential construction, I gained a solid foundation in everything renovation – roofing certainly taught me work ethic! I began “diversifying” when I undertook a 4-year electrical apprenticeship, attending school at night and applying my trade during the day running circuits, installing switchgear, and living the electrified life.My first role with significant office duties was as a Project Manager in the DC/MD/VA Glazing Industry. This chapter drastically broadened my horizons, hammering home the importance of details, documentation, collaboration, and creative investigation. Managing and assisting on projects such as the Smithsonian Bird House, the Richmond Old City Hall, and many more, was an experience I’ll never forget! Most recently I delved into Construction Estimating and Sales. Here I gained valuable knowledge regarding clientele retention, time management, and outside-the-box problem-solving. Prior to living the dad life, I competed with myself in the gym as an amateur bodybuilder, competed with others on the football pitch (soccer field) and volleyball court, and spent too much money driving/fixing fast cars!
