• These anesthesia practices had revenues of $2.4 million in 1998 and in excess of $10 million in 2010. • Started with 1 other physician and 4 CRNA’s at 1 small hospital and eventually grew the practices to 13 physicians and 24 CRNA’s, covering 2 acute care hospitals and 3 surgery centers with a combined 24 OR’s. • Personally managed the financial, accounting, operational, human resources and legal functions of the business and achieved profitability within 2 years, while paying off $700,000 in startup debt and distributing robust retirement benefits to employees. • Successfully negotiated multiple service contracts with major medical corporations. • Worked with surgeons to make our OR’s their destination of choice. • Sold the practices with zero debt on the balance sheet.
