Lion One Metals Limited (Previously Avocet Resources Limited, U3O8 Limited)Lion One Metals is a listed Canadian and Australian exploration and development company with its main operational site in Fiji. Lion One Metals is currently focussed on developing its gold project at Tuvatu; a wholly owned, ready-to-mine, narrow vein alkaline hosted epithermal gold project in Fiji. A Mining Lease, 21-year Surface Lease, and Environmental Impact Assessment and Environment Management, Rehabilitation and Closure Plan have been successfully negotiated with the Fijian Government. The Tuvatu Project has a JORC and NI-43-101 compliant indicated and inferred resource of 4,965,000 tonnes at 5.71 g/t, for 911,300 ounces of gold, with a current mineable resource of 452,000 ounces at 11.30 g/t, ranking it one of the highest grade underground gold mines globally.I am responsible for the total management of the Tuvatu project, including government relations, exploration, development and project generation.Negotiated all successful mining and environmental permissions with the Fijian Government.Initiated and completed the Lion One Metals/ Avocet Resources merger in 2013 to increase shareholder value, decrease administrative operating costs, and maximize growth opportunities. Raised over $38 million (FY2016) to assist international relations and the transition of Lion One Metals from an exploration company to a production-ready, fully-compliant mining company. Raised over $3 million (FY2009) in capital with 50% share oversubscription.Projected creation of over 400 local jobs throughout the life of the Tuvatu project.

Facilitated the merger of Avocet Resources Limited with Lion One Metals Limited in 2013 .Launched Piche Resources, and its Argentinian-based branch, to negotiate new business developments and gold and uranium exploration joint-ventures in Latin America. Managed all aspects of the Company including uranium, gold, iron ore and rare earth minerals exploration and delineation. Goverrnment Relations, native title agreements, investor and stakeholder relationships.Discovered the Olary Creek iron ore deposit in South Australia, containing a JORC compliant indicated and inferred 510 million tonnes of 26.4% iron, with 138 million tonnes of concentrate at 69.7% (using a 20% cutoff grade).Successfully negotiated a joint venture agreement with the Chinese Henan Provincial Government for the exploration and development of Olary CreekDelineated the Dawson-Hinkler uranium deposit in Western Australia and negotiated its multi-million dollar above-market value sale to Toro Energy.Negotiated numerous Farm-In and Joint Venture Agreements in Australia and Argentina.Successfully floated the original company, U3O8 Limited, on the Australian Stock Exchange

Initiated and managed mining of the Frogs Legs and White Foil sites.Relocated Darwin-based assets to meet long term business models, facilitating reduction of overheads and driving performance optimisation and productivity at high-return deposits.Launched and directed the development of an electronic integrated management system for Cogema Australia, including certification for the International Environmental Standard (ISO14001) and the Australian/New Zealand Safety Standard (AS4801).Oversaw quality control of fuel-cell loading as part of the ANSTO-COGEMA reprocessing agreement.Managed gold and uranium exploration and development in Australia.Represented the two largest global nuclear and uranium companies (AREVA, Cameco) in a $350m shareholding sale in Rio Tinto controlled ERA.
