I was called back to M/Y Rahil (31m Azimut) and promoted to bosun for my second season. Engineering relevant duties: I skippered a 9m 380hp turbo diesel carbon fibre Goldfish (drove it from Italy to Sardinia as well), plotted courses and maintained and oversaw the servicing of the engine. I also operated and maintained the two Jet-skis, 6 Jet Surfs and Seabobs.

Engineering relevant duties: I assisted the chief engineer with the servicing and maintenance of the two Caterpillar 670hp engines, the bilge pumps, the fire pumps and crane. The servicing consisted of opening up the engines, cleaning the rust and corrosion, re-greasing, replacing parts, repainting, and finally reassembling.
