• Provide leadership and management to the Finance Team, ensuring strong customer service for all incentive programs housed under the Arizona Commerce Authority. Programs include: Angel Small Business Capital Investment Program, Applied Research Centers Grant Program, Computer Data Center Program, Healthy Forest Enterprise Incentives Program, International Operations Center Program, Job Training Grant Program, Military Reuse Zone Program, Quality Jobs Tax Credit Program, Qualified Facility Tax Credit Program, and Refundable Research and Development Tax Credit Program• Facilitate the development of policies for programs, rules, guidelines, applications, and other collateral materials in coordination with Program Managers and General Counsel• Read, analyze, and apply statute, regulation, and other applicable documents for program implementation• Support Business Development staff in the interpretation and application of incentives for client projects• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program Annual Reports and other statutory requirements

Bureau of Labor Statistics - Cooperative Program’s Director and Strategic Project Management Initiatives

• Administer the Bureau of Labor Statistics federal cooperative statistical programs by providing direct management and support of the Current Employment Statistics, Local Area Unemployment Statistics, Occupational Employment Statistics, and Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages programs and the staff involved in the survey preparation, collection, and editing of raw data. Included all direct training, technical assistance, and succession planning for subordinate staff.• Provide strategic and operational direction to OEO BLS staff to accomplish all cooperative agreement deliverables in accordance with federal guidelines and schedules. This includes the review and interpretation of new or revised federal methodology and reporting requirements.• Coordinate a complex schedule of programs to produce monthly reports; analyze and resolve complex operational problems to meet required schedules; coordination with BLS Federal staff in both Regional and National offices, and coordinate with other state agencies for economic/administrative data and system updates.• Oversight of OEO’s Bureau of Labor Statistic’s program budget and projections.

•Provide administrative support to OEO staff related to human resources, purchasing, contract review, budgeting, accounting, and overall office management activities•Support OEO Director and staff to ensure compliance with all deliverables associated with the BLS cooperative agreement, OEO breakthrough projects, performance metrics, workforce development, economic analysis, and the state demographer.
