I am responsible for leading a community of thousands of supporters to utilize their platform and peer network to raise money on behalf of International Justice Mission. I serve as the bridge between frontline champions and our marketing teams, ensuring our volunteers, advocates and fundraisers are inspired and equipped to raise millions of dollars annually from campaigns such as Dressember, Race to Restore and others.

I played a pivotal role in bringing the Dressember campaign underneath International Justice Mission's umbrella by sharing institutional knowledge, ensuring a seamless transition for fundraisers, and leading the successful execution of our content strategy. In close partnership with cross-functional IJM staff members, we put all hands on deck to equip 1,700 fundraisers (500 of whom were new!) to raise $1.5M for the Dressember 2023 campaign. A true feat amidst a great season of change.

Dressember is more than a campaign—it's a community of justice advocates united by the belief in the power of collective action. What began as a fun awareness campaign as a challenge to wear a dress or tie and fundraise throughout the month of December, has transformed into a global movement, raising 20 million dollars to combat human trafficking. The Dressember community has been supporting IJM’s vital work to protect people in poverty from violence for over a decade. IJM and Dressember are one team now, stronger and better equipped to end human trafficking. As Content Manager for the Dressember Foundation, I was responsible for: - Leading the organization's communications and community engagement strategy across brand, advocacy, and fundraising campaigns for ~4k peer-to-peer fundraisers and 100k supporters- Co-producing and hosing Dressember's podcast alongside CEO/Founder with a monthly average of 1k episode downloads and 800 unique listeners- Building and nurturing a diverse pipeline of podcast guests, as well as research industry trends and reports to develop fact-based and trauma-informed topics and run-of-shows- Developing weekly emails and social media posts for a combined audience of 130k people- Developing an annual Fundraising Toolkit including statistic and impact social media graphics, fundraising guides, and email templates- Coordinating community events for fundraiser recruitment nationwide
