Networking & Partnership: 1. Strengthen field office understanding of program design, grants management and best practices needed for program implementation.

Program Management and Administration1. In coordination with field office leadership, manage a grant portfolio of over $12 million, covering El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia and the Dominican Republic, monitoring and proposing solutions in project performance and budget execution. 2. Maintain clear and consistent communication with donors, field staff, and partners to ensure alignment on expectations, responsibilities, timelines and program results.3. Actively troubleshoot and advise staff on project problems and collaboratively develop solutions with field staff and program services across seven field offices and global functions team.Program Design1. • Managed the design and development of new grant-funded projects in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, Bolivia, Honduras, and El Salvador, successfully securing over $6 million to advance IJM’s programs in the Latin America region.2. Build the capacity of field office and regional staff in seven countries across Latin America to understand and develop comprehensive logic models and well-structured budgets to guide project implementation.Grants Administration1. Monitor and ensure proper tracking of budget estimates and program expenditures to ensure that projects remain within budget allocations while managing for compliance considerations such as budget line flexibility, unallowable costs, and prior approval requirements. This management resulted in high levels of budget execution of 95% or higher for each grant. 2. Coordinate procurement and accounting processes, including the drafting of subawards and contracts, to support responsible and efficient implementation of project grants.
