Stephanie is an award winning filmmaker who recently directed a block of 4 Episodes on the globally renowned, award winning ITV continuing drama EMMERDALE. She directed 4 episodes of Series 10 of BBC’s BAFTA and RTS winning children’s TV drama THE DUMPING GROUND which aired in 2023.She is currently in development on several film and TV projects including feature film IN OUR BLOOD, a modern gothic supernatural thriller. The screenplay was awarded BFI Emerging Talent Development Funds, selected for the EIFF Talent Lab and Galway Film Market and chosen for Birds Eye View/BFI FILMONOMICS programme headed by Mia Bays. Stephanie participated in the BAFTA x CREW Talent Development Programme and was awarded the John Brabourne Award for IN OUR BLOOD to support script completion.Stephanie's comedy horror HOUSE HACK was produced under her banner FORGE FLIMS, which she founded in 2017. She is the Creator, Director and EP of the live-action interactive feature which was commissioned by Whatifi, the social story-hacking platform for original interactive films. The film has 16 possible endings and features Amar Chadha Patel and Jenny Funnell. Written by Abigail Blackmore, it was shot on location in Estonia during the pandemic of 2020 and released in March 2021.ZEBRA GIRL is her feature directorial debut based on the critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival one woman show ‘Catherine & Anita’ performed by Sarah Roy. Starring Tom Cullen, Jade Anouka and Sarah Roy, it was released in UK Cinemas 2021 and is now streaming globally on all major platforms. The film was nominated for Best Thriller at the 2022 National Film Awards and won Best Thriller at Portland Film Festival. Sales are with AMP International and is distributed by Bohemia Media and Front Row Filmed Entertainment.Stephanie’s shorts have achieved festival, critical, online and broadcast success screening at OSCAR, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals worldwide. She received the PIA PRESSURE NEW VOICES Award for her film BEING KEEGAN starring Stephen Graham which won multiple awards and is now streaming in the UK and US on Amazon Prime.Her short film MARIGOLDS was broadcast on BBC HD Shorts and won Best Director at Underwire Film Festival. Her second short film DAWN starring Edward Hogg and Keeley Forsyth was BAFTA long-listed.Stephanie has over 15 years industry experience working with top tier talent, broadcasters and production companies over the last 10 years including BBC, ITV, CH5, Netflix and Sky.Stephanie is a member of BAFTA, RTS and Director’s UK and holds dual UK/US citizenship.
