The Young Entrepreneur Program, Kansas City is a fellowship that selected 21 of the KC Metro Area's best high school upperclassmen to intern at local, high-growth ventures. Founded by Sandy and Christine Kemper, the program connects students with serial entrepreneurs such as Sandy Kemper (C2FO CEO), Toby Rush (Eye Verify CEO) and Gary Fish (FishTech CEO). This internship offers a unique rotating schedule that will allow students to gain experience with multiple well-respected and unique startups. The program offers an opportunity for high engagement with leadership teams, as well as an opportunity to network with other students and midwest professionals.

I started at Kiewit in January as part of an internship program in place for my CAPS Aerospace & Electronics class (3 class hours). After graduation, I worked full-time at Kiewit throughout the summer. Attached is my CAPS January-May presentation that I gave to the engineering strand of 40 students and my Kiewit mentors. It gives an overview of my largest assignments while at Kiewit from Jan-May. Due to the nature of the project, most of my work surrounded piping and instrumentation.
