As part of the Capital Markets Group, Jonathan oversaw the upgrade of a desktop business reporting system to a Microsoft SQL platform. We have developed our own software toolset to assist organizations in executing on their strategy. It is one thing to build a strategy and to understand where you want to go. It is a whole other challenge to have your organization make daily business decisions that are based and founded within the companies strategy. Catalytics has since released scorePoint which is a software toolset that makes it easy to align your companies data with the strategy the company wishes to embark on. When every employee is making strategic decisions, everyone wins. Managed a small team of developers responsible for the ScorePoint Rating Solutions software. Apotex is Canada's leading generic pharmaceutical company. Catalytics has been providing consulting services to the finance group around their BI implementation. Again, pushing the envelope, Catalytics brought in Panorama software to build a BI dashboard that sits on top of SAP's BW (does not extract data like other BI platforms). This enables the Apotex to keep hardware costs down, while leveraging BI throughout the organization.

Panorama has proven to provide unique challenges to the team at Catalytics. With their cutting edge, ahead of the curve software, we were enlisted to ensure they held that position. Being instrumental to the design and initial implementations of their dashboard project, we worked closely with their development teams to ensure that the product was ready for prime time. We took the dashboarding requirements to the next level with designing Panorama's own business scorecarding solution. By focusing on modeling the Norton and Kaplan Balanced Scorecarding approach, we designed a toolset for Panorama that would allow them to implement any scorecard desired. A comprehensive KPI definition and management toolset was the fruits of our labor.

Starting off on my IT career by servicing desktop help requests. My curiosity and inquisitive nature lead me to become the network administrator. Implementing enterprise grade redundancy with up-times that rivaled only the largest of organizations, I embarked on my career in a big way. The team was able to leverage my problem solving abilities to implement client requests when required. I never backed away from a challenge and I went out of my way to learn whatever I could to remain effective and maintain and grow my knowledge about the IT industry. I focused my attention on Windows Domains, routing, firewalls, AS/400 integrations, Notes administration and development. I could be counted on to solve IT related challenges whenever required.
