I am a sixth generation rancher raised on the Dugas and Sycamore Ranch. My family started ranching the Dugas area in 1876 and it has been family owned and operated ever since. We run a cow calf operation raising Angus Cross cattle and in 2020 I founded our finished beef program. My family takes great pride in what we do and hope to continue to care for this land for many more generations to come.In my time away from the ranch, I attended Colorado State University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business. I am the third generation in my family to attend CSU. While in Fort Collins, I joined the Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, participated in the Legends of Ranching Colt Starting program, and volunteered in a number of Ag in the Classroom programs to name a few.I have a true passion for agriculture which shines through every aspect of my life. I have served as the Arizona State Cowbelles President for 2 terms, I am a current board member for the Yavapai Cattle Growers, and I am currently serving as Secretary for the Arizona Cattle Growers, just to name a few. In 2019 I completed Project Centrl, Class 28. I continue to serve as a member of the Centrl Alumni Committee as my class chair. My professional career started in the veterinary field where I worked as a large animal field and surgical technician. I then transitioned into a role with the Arizona Department of Agriculture as a Livestock Inspector. I worked for the department for many years and during my time there I attended the Glendale Regional Training Academy and earned my Arizona Police Officer Certification and was promoted to a Livestock Officer and I finished my time there as the Northern Regional Area Supervisor. I have been with AgriWebb for almost 2 years and in my current role as an Account Manager Liaison, I serve as an advocate for ranchers participating in our sustainability programs. I enjoy being able to support them and guide them through the experience. The cattle industry is something I am incredibly passionate about and connecting with other ranchers on a daily basis is such a blessing.
