Mid Year 2021 QUT Graduate. I found that Electrical Engineering peaked my interest from early on in my degree. After completing my Diploma of Engineering, I knew I liked the hands-on aspect of engineering, and Electrical Engineering has allow me to continue this throughout university experience. My focus has been on telecommunications, RF and electronics, with minors in education and management to round out my soft skills. My Final Year Honours thesis involved the utilisation of RF Antenna to determine the water content within Soil samples, through this antenna were designed, simulated and tested to obtain significant results.Aside from university, I have actively engaged with the community through a wide variety of activities. Most recently (as of 2021), I participated in the STEM in Education conference as a QUT Student Ambassador and a member of the QUT Connect Program. The combination of these activities, coupled with moving regularly due to my father’s work in the army, has allowed me to be adaptable, work well in teams, take on leadership roles and take on whatever challenges are thrown my way, while adding value to the team I am a part of.Now working as a SAED Engineer within the Telecommunications Industry, with the Role out of Small Cells
