When I was a kid, my dad told me that I would have to look at myself in the mirror every day, and that I should be proud of what I see. Ever since, I have led my life founded upon the principle of treating others the way I want to be treated. It is this foundation which drives me to always place the client at the center of my business, giving them the same level of highly personalized service, attention and care as I would want for myself. I have over 27 years of experience in providing financial and wealth management advice and guidance. I focus on personalized wealth management strategies for select families and foundations. I am deeply passionate about helping my clients succeed through a goals-based approach in order to create a financial solution that helps them achieve what matters most to them. I am fortunate to have been named on the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list and on the Barron's list of America's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors, in 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018.I believe my background and experience is unique in this industry and an asset to my clients. I earned my B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida, and then started my career as a Certified Public Accountant for Deloitte & Touché in Tampa. I later worked as a Financial Analyst for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando and in Paris. I became a Financial Advisor in 1994. Before joining RBC Wealth Management, I was a financial advisor and branch manager for Smith Barney, UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.On a personal note, since moving to Stuart with my wife Julianne, I have been an active member of a number of local charities and foundations. I currently serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Council on Aging of Martin County at the Kane Center. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking with my two golden retrievers, and spending time on my boat. I am the proud parent of my two children, Anna and Katherine.
