Specialty Leather business based and manufactured in Los Angeles, California. Design and produce a very high-end collection of custom printed, etched and unique solid leathers for top design firms in the US for both residential and hospitality interiors.

Was responsible for overseeing this New York and Los Angeles based custom rug manufacturers brand expansion throughout the US market. Established a new approach to sales in the market and representation with independent sales in key territories, provided direct sales to top designers and created a commercial and hospitality division. Assisted in the creation of a new brand identity and product.

Managed all product promotion and onsite sales training for sixteen representative and flagship showrooms throughout the United States, Canada and the UK for Dessin Fournir Furniture, Gerard Furniture, Kerry Joyce Furniture, Palmer Hargrave Lighting, Classic Cloth Textiles, Rose Cumming Textiles, Fritsch Hardware, Dessin Fournir Leather and Dessin Fournir Hand- painted Panels. Hired, supervised and trained two regional managers and oversaw training and outreach to 32 outside sales representatives. Was the primary contact for all showroom sales and new product training as well as all contract and hospitality sales outreach throughout the United States. Assisted in the development of all marketing and sales initiatives including the creation of a product website, company-wide ordering system, sales management system and six product catalogs. Was responsible for creating and developing all sales tools and presentation formats. Partnered in the creation and product development of the leather and chinoiserie program. Was directly responsible for all outside sales calls and outreach to New York City, and its regional commercial and residential clients, assisting in the doubling of residential sales and the tripling of contract and hospitality business for the showroom. Assisted in the acquisition and development of additional companies and created strategies for their successful integration into the Dessin Fournir’s portfolio of lines.

Opened the flagship trade showroom for this furniture manufacturer and developed a complete wholesale division and created a trade customer database, assisted in developing an ordering system and development of a trade catalog. Established a contract and hospitality division for the company.
