Steve Armitage BEng MSc MA CEng MRAeS RAF(Retd)I’m a Senior Principal Systems Engineering Consultant with extensive experience in complex Systems Engineering, engineering operations, the management of safety (personnel and equipment/ordnance), equipment qualification and logistics. I’ve worked in both the public and private sectors, in military and industrial environments. Much of my experience has been in highly-regulated fields of military aviation, weapons and nuclear safety. I’ve a track-record of successful delivery, in complex, high-tempo and high-stress environments. I’m used to rigid output and cost constraints, and consistently combine successful project delivery with securing follow-on business.I’m passionate about guiding others in their professional development and proud to have been able to mentor many talented people over the years.I consider myself an excellent relationship builder and enjoy leading large and diverse teams. But I’m equally happy working alone.Most importantly I still like a challenge!
