I joined the Royal Engineers in 2012 as a Mechanical Fitter and Combat Engineer, achieving an NVQ level 2 in Engineering Maintenance. I spent the first year in the field army based in Germany maintaining and operating in service CVRT tanks before coming back to the UK to work in an EOD and Search Regiment, responding to UK wide incidents, and training in aspects of search such as Hazardous Environment Search and Explosive Particle Detection. In 2016 I completed my Fitter Utilities and Petroleum Class 1 course, achieving an NVQ level 3 in Engineering Maintenance.Whilst in the Forces, I have acquired C, CE, H driving licenses and completed a Blue Lights Intermediate Driving course in order to respond to emergency EOD call outs.During resettlement from the army,I signed off from the Army in October 2017 and begun training for a new role at Churchesfire as a Technician in September 2018
