Continued to work with Maximo at Peacock Engineering, a software house offering Maximo solutions and recognised as a triple ‘A’ associate partner with IBM. Clients were varied and include facilities management, utilities, transport, manufacturing, oil and gas, and government agencies. Oversaw several accounts and called upon in-house developers as and when needed to help in developing and deploying solutions. Activities were varied and included implementing asset management solutions, team leading, liaising with clients up to Director and ‘C’ level status, pre-sales support, overseeing offshore development activity, up-grading, functional and technical specification writing.

This detail covers activity at IBM and MRO, as IBM took over MRO in 2007.Worked with Maximo - a web architectured enterprise level asset maintenance management system. Involved in near one hundred percent client facing work such as package bespoking, advising clients on implementation issues (hardware, network, etc.), report writing, and database administration (with excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases).Other work included customer training in groups either at office or at client site, data migration into and out of databases, writing statements/proposals of work and process and functional documentation. Work was either on an individual basis, taking control of an implementation from start to finish, or team based / team lead working.Client base personally handled whilst at MRO and IBM included many companies. Companies fell into categories such as manufacturing, education, food and drink, facilities management, oil and gas (upstream), pharmaceutical, transport, utilities (e.g. power, water).
