I have over 15 years of drafting and design experience in the Electrical and Architectural Engineering Consulting and Construction field, the last 10 years mainly in the design of electrical systems. I have studied under some of Kansas Cities most accomplished engineers and designers and have honed my design skills through those individuals and through my study of the National Electric Code.My primary experience includes Design and Engineering of Power Distribution, Lighting Systems and Fire Alarm Systems for various Commercial, Hospitality, Industrial, Institutional, Retail and Multi-family buildings and facilities. I have provided designs for Data Processing Centers, Computer Power Distribution Systems, Clean Rooms, Parking Lot/Garages, Electrical Power and lighting systems for Hospitals, Medical Facilities and Electrical Systems located in High Hazard Locations. I have served as the Prime Design Professional for multiple projects involving Electrical and Fire Alarm Engineering.I have provided design of mechanical and plumbing systems through the licensed engineers I have worked with over the years. I have also performed pre-design reviews to determine existing conditions prior to commencing design and construction administration services to assure the construction conforms to the intent of the design.Some of the projects I have provided Electrical Design Services for include a 16,000 SF office space for the Secret Service at One Kansas City Place, White Iron Ridge Event Center in Smithville, MO, Camping World in Colorado Springs, CO, and Veritas High School In Lawrence, KS. My education includes a certification in drafting (Certificate) in CADD from Vatterott College. I have participated in various seminars provided by manufacturers and governmental agencies to maintain and expand my knowledge base.
