In addition to leading one of Australia’s largest teams providing engineering solutions to both the conventional & renewable power and Transmission & Distribution sectors, I lead a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 dedicated mechanical, chemical and electrical engineers spread from Adelaide to Townsville. Our team is pleased to be delivering some of Australia’s most significant projects in power, with outstanding successes in renewables, including the wind farms at Hornsdale and Coopers Gap; battery storage projects in South Australia; several large-scale Solar PV projects across Australia; three Waste to Energy projects in the UK and numerous hydroelectric projects on the Eastern Seaboard. Project Manager for the Owner's Engineer team on Saudi Electric's 600 MW Duba Green Integrated Solar Combined Cycle Gast Turbine Power Station in Saudi Arabia.

I led GHD's Power Generation and Transmission Delivery team across South Queensland. My activities included business development, team leadership, project sponsorship and the development and maintenance of client relationships.Project specific responsibilities included:• Project Director for the development of a large reciprocating engine based power plant in Papua New Guinea• Project Manager responsible for the design reviews of a large reciprocating engine based power station development in Western Australia• Project Director for the development of the demolition contract specification for a major fossil fuel fired power station• Power Plant specialist providing advice to a confidential client seeking to develop a nominal 100 MW coal fired captive power plant for a mine.• Engineering Management Specialist responsible for the development of Engineering Management and Project Management Procedures for application on all of APA’s ‘Design for Construction’ project’s associated with their LNG portfolio.• Project Manager & Power Station specialist responsible for the development of twelve 100 MWe power station configurations with high level life-cycle financial models for Adani Mining to support their deliberations relating to the most cost effective energy supply arrangements for their coal mine development in Central Queensland.• Technical Specialist providing support to GHD’s Due Diligence Team reviewing all of EDL’s global power generation assets with a particular focus on Environmental, Health and Safety performance.• Power Plant specialist providing technical and cost estimating support to develop an asset value assessment of the Jerudong, Berakas and Gadong for the Berakas Power Management Company in Brunei.

In addition to being responsible for all the management aspects of the Thermal Power Generation business across Asia-Pacific, I also have project specific responsibilities including:• Project Manager / HRSG specialist for a confidential client looking to change the operating regime of a large combined cycle gas turbine plant from base load to intermittent operation incorporating frequent mothballing the plant for several months each year• Project Manager for commercially sensitive due-diligence project for a high profile client looking at acquiring a large scale combined cycle gas turbine plant• Owner's Engineer for a confidential Australian Client who is looking to develop a number of large (> 300 MWe) combined cycle gas turbine power plant projects over three different locations around the region. The scope of responsibility is from the initial Fatal Flaw Study, Concept Development and the Pre-Feasibility Study

My responsibilities included: • Ensuring that all commercial, project delivery, health and safety, environmental, quality, schedule and financial performance obligations are met for all the projects within the Renewable Energy and Asset Management portfolios in Queensland• The professional development of the Project Managers responsible for projects in my portfolios• Responsible for more than 50 projects running concurrentlySpecific project experience included:• Technical Advisor/Project Engineer for the development of the solar-boost project at Kogan Creek Power Station• Owner’s Engineer for the development of the ‘Solar Dawn’ solar thermal power project providing detail design review services to the project sponsors• Owner’s Engineer for a confidential project involving the desalination of coal seam methane water and the long term storage of the solid salt• Owner’s Engineer for a confidential project involving the sequestering of carbon dioxide in the flue gases from a large coal fired power station utilising algae• Project Manager responsible for a confidential life extension assessment for a large coal fired power station in Queensland.• Owner’s Engineer for the PLTU Jabar in Indonesia responsible for the development of the plant configuration to technical support during negotiations for a 2 x 660 MW coal fired supercritical IPP power plant. • Owner’s Engineer responsible for the development of the concept and feasibility studies for the 750 MW, 680t/h steam cogeneration plant on QER’s ‘Shale to Liquids’ project in Queensland, Australia• Owner’s Engineer responsible for the development of both the concept and feasibility studies associated with a confidential 2x 500 MW supercritical coal fired power plant in Australia• Owner’s Engineer responsible for a confidential fully detailed feasibility study looking into the potential replacement of an existing oil-fired boiler plant in Singapore with a 2x 500 MW coal-fired plant

My responsibilities included:• Owner’s Engineer for the feasibility study, front end engineering development (FEED), specification development, tender evaluation, negotiation support, design reviews, technical support, HAZOPs, construction inspections and commissioning support associated with the installation of three new 125 t/h hydrogen-fired boilers at one of Europe’s largest chlorine plants• Boiler specialist associated with the due diligence assessment on partially erected Unit at the 5x 660 MW oil-fired ‘Grain’ power station in the UK• Specialist Engineer responsible for identifying the root causes associated with the unreliable operation of the 2x 5 MW combined cycle gas turbine plant at the BBC’s main television studios in London. Responsibilities included developing and designing corrective actions, production of technical specifications, sourcing suppliers, negotiation, design reviews, construction supervision and commissioning. Also responsible for the upgrade of the control systems to accommodate the plant modifications• Boiler specialist responsible for identifying the cause of erratic steam drum water levels occurring during the start-up and shut down and for developing corrective concepts for the 730 MW combined cycle gas turbine plant at the ‘Immingham Oil Refinery’ in the UK• Owner’s Engineer for the concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, the production of the technical and commercial enquiry specifications, execution of the enquiry process, tender evaluation, contract negotiations and contract formation associated with developing a 30 MW, bagasse-fired combined heat-power plant at the ‘First Farmer’s Sugar Mill’ in the Philippines• Specialist Engineer responsible for the detailed pipework design of all the systems associated with the 660 MW combined cycle gas turbine and 100 MIGD power and desalination plant at Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates

Assignments included:• Deputy Project Manager for Huaneng Power International Inc’s 2x 350 MW coal fired Fuzhou Power Plant in China• Engineering Project Manager for the completion of Huaneng Power International Inc’s 2 x 350 MW, coal fired Dandong Power Plant in China• Engineering Project Manager for the completion of Huaneng Power International Inc’s 2 x 350 MW, coal fired Dalian Power Plant in China• Engineering Project Manager for the completion of PowerGen’s 700 MW Rye House Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Project, in the United Kingdom• Engineering Project Manager for the completion of ESB International’s 350 MW Corby Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Plant in the United Kingdom• Chennai (Madras) based Technical Advisor to Larsen and Toubro Ltd’s Haldia project in India• Site Based Project Engineer for China Light and Power’s (CLP) Start-up Rate Improvement Project at the 4 x 350 MW and 4 x 677 MW coal fired Castle Peak Power Stations in Hong Kong.
