After a 15 year career in the international Oil & Gas Services business with Schlumberger working in Italy, UK, Ireland, France, Gabon, Algeria and Nigeria . I chose to test my entrepreneurial skills co-founding GS Telecom Limited in 1993. GS Telecom specialised in enterprise communication networks in Africa serving major oil companies and then grew to serve Mining, Construction, Breweries, other FMCG multinationals and the rapidly growing Banking industry in Africa. GS Telecom was sold to Gateway Communications in May 2007 by which time annual turnover was $36m, with 250 employees in 12 Africa countries. In 2001 we also founded Accat Nigeria Limited to be an equipment distributor in the fast growing mobile telephony business in Nigeria. I served as an Executive Director of Gateway Communications, as well as a director of various Vodacom (South Africa) companies following Gateway's acquisition by Vodacom, a Vodafone company.Specialties: African Telecommunications, Satellite, VSAT and MPLS VPN network business, Business and Product Development, General Management, Sales and Marketing of telecommunications services
