Integration Manager - Interior/Exterior/HVAC - CF16 SUV Working as part of a cross functional project management team. Responsible for managing technical, commercial, quality and timing related activities associated with the launch of the new Qoros CF16 SUV. Own Contract Project management company. - Working on various automotive leather interior trim programmes.Managing all aspects of budget, timing,engineering ,production, quality and logistics. Working as a contractor at I.M Kelly automotive on programmes as 1st & 2nd tier supplier for OEM's such as Jaguar , Range Rover , BMW ,Marussia.

Role was to manage and coordinate the timely delivery and handover to the required quality of a number of villas, apartments, ancillary buildings and Infrastructure associated with the Al Reef Villas project, a 3.6 Billion AED residential/commercial construction development located just outside Abu Dhabi. Consisting of 2,400 Villas in 4 village layouts and 1,800 apartments in 46 six storey buildings along with community facilities and other ancillary and infrastructure buildings. It will be home for approx. 16,000+ residents. Also to ensure the facilities once handed over weremanaged effectively such as security, waste management, cleaning, pest control, landscaping etc. In addition to providing a number of additional property services such as M.E.P. servicing and maintenance, civil and carpentry works, pool maintenance etc. Through design, development and construction phase. Manage various construction contractors / consultants / owners to achieve accurate and timely handover of quality assets to the site master plan, ensuring correct approval procedures were followed. Identification and resolution of any issues or conflicts arising. Leading and attending handover, DLP and FM related meetings. Carrying out site inspections to confirm readiness and give Q.C. approval to assets. Managing accurate Key handover process. Preparing Weekly/Monthly reports on Handover/ Occupancy progress. Preparing site memos and reports related to FM and handover scope. Achievements: Application of project management skills to successfully deliver a high value construction project working overseas.

I.M.Kelly Ltd was the nominated 1st tier supplier for Interior trim components for the then new Aston Martin DB9, V8 Vantage and DBS programmes. Components supplied were Leather Trimmed Instrument Panel, Doors and Lower “A” Posts.Various substrate forms such as L.F.I., Vacuum Forming and Injection Moulding’s were used. V8 & DBS Vantage programme also required supply of various cut leather panels for seats and rear environment.Main duty was to be the customer front line contact for all technical & timing aspects of the project. Responsibilities include co-ordinating the timely delivery of parts to ensure achievement of programme build requirements.Attending and reporting on design review meetings, managing engineering change, and using APQP, PMST and launch readiness reporting to monitor key stage programme events. Achievements — Utilisation of project management skills to successfully deliver complex high profile automotive launch programmes.

Account management responsibility for new and existing clients offering Rapitypes range of design and rapid product development services. This included full industrial design and styling, 3-D Cad Conversion, Reverse Engineering, S.L.A., S.L.S. & F.D.M. master prototype models. Silicone, Epoxy Resin and Aluminium rapid tooling systems. Vacuum and R.l.M. PU. Castings. Injection mouldings. Metal castings. Conventional modeling and C.N.C machining. Contact was at all levels of seniority across a range of industries, mainly automotive. The role involved consultation on new technology processes and required a high degree of project management skills on product development programmes for companies such as Ford, Volvo, Jaguar etc. working with 1st and 2nd tier suppliers such as Johnson Controls, McKechnie, Linpac, etc. on interior/exterior trim, seating, under bonnet and other mostly plastics component development.Achievements — Further developed knowledge of prototyping systems. Gained in depth exposure to design processes and injection mould tooling systems. Further developed project management skills. Introduced largest single customer account. (Johnson Controls £250,000 p.a.)

Responsible for maintaining existing accounts and for developing new business offering Arrk-Styles range of Rapid Prototyping services. These services included 3-D Cad Conversion, Stereolithography, Selective Laser Sintering and Fused Deposition Modeling master models. Also Silicone, Epoxy Resin and Aluminium rapid tooling. Vacuum and R.l.M. PU. Castings also metal castings and other conventional modeling and machining processes. Contact was at all levels of seniority across a broad range of industries predominantly automotive. The role included customer education as to process capabilities by means of demonstrations and presentations and also required project management skills. Mainly Involved in programmes for companies like Jaguar, Rover, Land Rover etc. working with 1st and 2nd tier suppliers such as Johnson Controls, Lear, Magna, Collins & Aikman etc. on trim, seating, under bonnet and other mostly plastics component development. Achievements — Gained knowledge of high tech prototyping systems took area sales from £50,000 p.a. to £500,000 p.a.

Responsible for the area sales of the SMC range of pneumatic cylinders, valves, air preparation and ancillary equipment for automation and pneumatic applications. Working out of the midlands regional office at Coleshill responsible for the development of existing customer base and gaining new business in CV post coded area. The position required sales visits to specific targeted companies working to an area plan aimed at maximising sales potential and achieving area targets.Achievements - Gained knowledge of pneumatic equipment and automation systems.

Responsible for UK sales of a range of advanced composite bearing materials available as machined components for bearing and wear applications. Working from home, responsible for the development of customer base in relevant target markets such as off-road vehicles, earth moving equipment, materials handling, railways etc. This was achieved through own initiatives such as sales visits, advertising, applications engineering, technical liaison and general sales and marketing strategies. The position included the use of computer spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing and word processing. Also AutoCAD LT for design work and drawings.Achievements — Gained knowledge of composite materials, developed sales and marketing skills, helped increase turnover from £700,000 p.a. to £900,000 p.a.

Introduced into the UK the iglidur range of injection moulded self-lubricating plastic bearings on behalf of lgus GmbH. Duties involved establishment, maintenance and development of customer base, achieved through marketing, sales and technical initiatives. This included advertising, sales visits, applications engineering, technical liaison and general business management. The position included the use of computer spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing and word processing.Achievements - Introduced new product group to U.K market. Achieved 1st year sales target of £100,000. Gained exposure to marketing activities such as editorials and advertising. Further developed knowledge of plastic materials

Responsible for the technical specification of a range of thermoplastic and thermoset materials available as injection/compression moulded and machined components for bearing and wear applications. Working from home and covering an area of 22 counties in England and Wales. Duties included maintaining existing accounts also creation of new sales working on own initiative and following up in-house enquiries. Project management taking projects from enquiry stage through to production. Customers were involved in a variety of disciplines broadly categorised as automotive, railways and general engineering with contact mainly at O.E. levelAchievements - Gained first experience of sales environment. Responsible for providing the complete Technical package necessary to achieve the manufacture of Aero EngineComponents. This included the preparation of Raw Material Drawings, Manufacturing instruction Sheets, Tooling Orders, Time Estimates etc. working on Computervision Cadds 4X CAD/CAM system using both Designer 5 and Caddstation Hardware.Achievements - Developed manufacturing engineering skills and trained in use of 3D - CAD systems.
