Following a business reorganisation within the Brush Group I have reverted back to my previous position within HSS, now focussing on a £100m growth strategy to maximise the business potential for HSS by 2020, developing new product/market combinations, while increasing revenue and growth opportunities through existing products and markets. Delivering a range of products and services designed to exceed our customer expectations.

Following a business reorganisation within the Brush Group I have reverted back to my previous position within HSS and BTL, now focussing on a growth strategy to maximise the business potential over the next 1-5 years, including new product development and an extension to our market opportunities.

Group Sales Director - The Brush Group is a subsidiary of Melrose PLC, comprising three Generator manufacturing companies based in UK, Netherlands and the Czech Republic and includes Brush Transformers and Hawker Siddeley Switchgear. Annual turnover in excess of £350m.

Part of the Brush Group, both HSS and BTL are well respected brand names throughout the world. With manufacturing sites in Blackwood, South Wales and Loughborough, England we supply equipment to the worlds major Distribution Utilities, Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, recognised globally for our advanced Switchgear Technology we also lead the field in the supply of DC Switchgear for the Rail Industry.

Responsible for total Sales budget, the global sales team, also for the operations in South America and Australia.Experience of growing and developing markets including new product/market penetration, also responsible the successful closure of our US facility.Heavily involved in the planning and budget process presented to our parent company annually combined with our monthly reviews. Responsible for the future long term strategic direction and profitable growth of the business.

Varoius managerial roles at HSS, including UK, European and Export Sales Manager leading the Directors position in April 2004.

Managed several key accounts in the South West, annual turnover in territory £8M per annum, mainly concentrating on the medium voltage range of products offered.
