Guided groups of 6-8 scouts and scout leaders into the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness. Being a guide honed my skills in planning, organization, patience, mental toughness, and group communication. Though I taught my crews a great deal about themselves and what they were capable of I learned more about myself and my own strengths that summer than I ever could have imagined.
