The primary purpose of the role is to assist the CEO in strategic planning and decision-making and to grow the organisation including managing operational funding in addition to providing analysis and reporting to the executive leadership team, the collaborative partners and playing a critical role in driving the quality of reporting and performance of the business.Other key duties include;• Effective Financial Stewardship. Directing, controlling and administering all finance activities of the group to achieve all matters of governance and financial reporting to the CEO, Board and external partners & stakeholders.• Participation in Board and Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committee Meetings, including preparation of Board and Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committee papers.• Providing the CEO and Board with appropriate information, strategic analysis and advice that will ensure leadership, planning and budgeting activities meet corporate goals.• Creating and disseminating appropriate financial management information to project and function managers, ensuring a solid understanding and accountability is maintained by each.• Providing key insight and advice to business development opportunities and pipeline.• Providing effective finance team and executive business leadership.• Performance of Company Secretarial function including reporting with Australian Charities and Not- for-Profits Commission (ACNC) and ASIC.

Reporting to the Managing Director - Australia & Asia Pacific, responsible for strong leadership and management of the Accounting, Finance, Real Estate and Facilities functions for the Australian & Asia Pacific business. Notable Achievements include; - Accountable for financial reporting and stewardship of new business growth in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Singapore, Malaysia and Timor-Leste.- Facilitated current contract growth by leading the development of innovative and concise reporting dashboards and business objects reporting to roll out to the various Contract Delivery Managers and Functional Managers. This led to key conversations to improve reporting visibility and accountability, ultimately improving contract performance.- Strong leadership and ownership of the initiative to move the Accounts Payable department (6 FTE) off shore to the Delhi transactions service centre achieving annual savings of $450k. This was achieved with empathy whilst maintaining my honesty and integrity values.- Partnered with the Managing Director to drive $2.5 million per annum in labour restructuring costs across various departments. - Led the restructuring and consolidation of the IT department delivering savings per annum of $220k.- Strong cost leadership and control in conjunction with the Regional Leadership Team to reduce overheads by $7M in FY2015 compared to FY2014.- Led various Oracle ERP and other system consolidation and integration resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.

Key deliverables were to provide effective strategic and financial leadership for the Group ensuring the utmost accuracy and integrity of the financial function and reporting requirements.Notable Achievements include;- Reconciled many incomplete and unreconciled accounts upon commencing with the business.
