DMTC Limited develops and delivers new materials technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance Australia’s defence capability and to strengthen industrial capacity. This is achieved through collaborative partnerships between Defence, government research agencies, academia and industry partners. DMTC research and project activity has traditionally focused on materials and manufacturing across the air, land and maritime sectors. More recently, DMTC’s work has expanded to include new technology fields such as medical countermeasures and high altitude sensor systems.. DMTC’s proven model includes rigorous project development, ongoing management and Intellectual Property control arrangements.
