Over 50 years in the toiletries/household trade with a lifetime of contacts…If you don't know of me you ain't been in the game long enough !! After 30 years of sales in wholesaling I crossed the line and became a buyer for the UK’s up and coming pound store …2 years later I only left Poundworld because of the 3 hour commute each day to go self employed . I set up a very successful import company sourcing from China. Had a great run on products and sales but then Covid came and I spent a couple of winters in Lanzarote and the Caribbean working online and still do , I’m not a man for winter in England but love the summers …Still proudly selling for Airpure Ltd as I have from day one , a wonderful company and great products.Also if you want an item / range sourcing please contact me. Work with a small team cutting the ground up to twice a week and getting everything ready on match day, sweeping, tidying, rope and flags out etc etc. Also order all the beer , wine , spirits , soft drinks, bar snacks etc from various suppliers and the brewery to keep a very busy bar fully stocked throughout the summer including pick ups from local cash and carries…

Brought in to source all the toiletries ,household and medicines direct and put a full range together. Went from 25 stores to 350 and the over rider system set up became six figures from zero , very much to the surprise of the owner.Only moved on as the 2 hour drive each was to become longer as the distribution centre was relocated even further away… A great company and owners that was ruined and thousands of jobs lost thanks to a clueless venture capital takeover…If it ain’t broke , don’t fix it!

Started as General Manager when Nields purchased Profit cash and carry in Accrington with an empty warehouse then promoted to Sales Director . Set up a nationwide sales division which took the turnover from zero to £50 million in 8 years . Then bought into the company in a management buy out , unfortunately for us , just as the recession came and although we had customers and orders , we were underfunded and the bank pulled the plug. I nearly lost everything and the mental strain took its toll and came back to bite me in later years …
