My position as an Operations Manager with Laz Parking required me to handle the day to day operations of three parking garages located in Dallas, TX. My responsibilities included understanding parking leases and making sure that spaces are allocated correctly, budgeting, revenue control, billing & payroll, running first and mid-month reports, ordering supplies, scheduling vendors for facility repairs, garage maintenance, leading a team of employees, making sure that garages are clean and operating to client’s standards, making system updates regarding parking changes, making sure that all parking equipment functioning correctly, making sure that garages are clean and presentable, reconciling machines for all cash sales, coordinating with the security, engineering and building management teams to ensure smooth operation of the facilities, etc.

My position as a Tier 2 Support Consultant with Lanyon Inc. required me to work in a dynamic and change driven environment. In this position I assisted suppliers with setting up, navigating through, and completing the RFP process via Lanyon’s software tool, reviewed and escalated cases to our product team, instructed users on how to set up certain functions/access controls on the software to help customize their program, etc. In my position as a Tier 1 consultant, I served as the first point on contact for corporations and hotel suppliers who used Lanyon’s software for the purposes of negotiating annual hotel negotiations. I also performed administrative tasks such as adding new properties into Lanyon’s database, formatting and importing large excel text files (historical data) into Lanyon’s database, importing hotel bids in the forms of text and excel files into Lanyon’s database, etc.

My position as a night auditor required me to prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, show the hotel's financial performance for the specific day, post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted by the previous shifts, check records for accuracy and print out multiple reports including hotel occupancy, room revenue percentages, etc., balance out and close all accounts for the day and open the account for the next day of business. This position also required me to make operational decisions in absence of general management and maintain a safe and courteous environment for the hotel.
