My role has changed over the past 30 years, but I have been in my current role for 15 years. Iam fully responsible for all Manufacturing operations, Health and Safety, Facilities, andProduction staff on two sites. As above this involves a huge amount of planning andorganizational skills. It also requires good man management skills.I am also responsible for procurement and reporting for the companies buying operations,with an annual spend managed of £4m+.In the past I have had CIPS training. I have also attended vocational and external courses onprocurement and negotiation. Member of the senior management team.
