While I’d always loved helping clients, my teams & traveling the world, my role had shifted into endless meetings, spreadsheets., presentations and the feeling that I was herding cats. Ready for a change, I took a step back to reflect and chose to semi-retire. Soon after, my wife Kiran and I embarked on a long anticipated road trip along the West Coast of the U.S. As it tends to do, life threw a huge curveball. I fell seriously ill and returned to face my second battle with cancer. To anyone who has gone through this or has had loved ones facing it, my heart truly goes out to you. It’s difficult to describe the physical pain and mental anguish but it's a journey that puts everything into perspective. After a gruelling battle and prolonged recovery, Kiran and I had a powerful realisation: we had one life, and we wanted to spend the rest of it doing what we truly loved. That’s when Compass & Cocktails Travel was born—a way to bring together our love for travel, customer service, and the thrill of solving unique challenges.Kiran is still in the corporate world and helping in her spare time but now, I'm pouring my passion into building this company, embracing each adventure as it comes.
