With nearly 30 years IT experience I have worked across the IT lifecycle. With a passion and expansive skill set to identify, trouble shoot and resolve complex issues on large scale development projects. Using a range of industry recognised skills, I can apply strong measurement and estimation techniques to manage suppliers, support Programme and Project Managers and meet Organisational goals with real defendable data. With significant experience around all areas of the lifecycle I can bring a 360o view to the table and deal with all areas of the business with the right language.Over the last 7 years and more recently as CEO of DCG Software value I have worked with a number of blue chip clients across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world and worldwide IT suppliers to evaluate their estimation practices and highlight areas of improvement, evaluating project performance and worked with clients to introduce industry standard estimation processes.One of the many challenges we see especially in the world of transformation is the we rely on gutfeel rather than hard evidence to demonstrate our successes where with the right analytics and approach we can justify our successes.I have developed and provided functional sizing expertise and training programme for many organisations including over 500 SMES for one major high street bank and supported vendor oversight for adherence to contractual obligations.Prior to joining DCG , I worked for HP until 2012 after nearly 20 years service, in that time was a key player in setting up the estimating framework between HP and the DWP, working as a Senior Business Architect and across the Service Delivery lifecycle in other roles developed the skills to deal and develop a detailed understanding of all areas of the Software delivery business.He is a Certified Scrum Master and holds a B.S. in Statistics from Newcastle University.
