After graduation from The Ohio State University, I focused on retail clothing store development, and placement of wholesale apparel and accessories. From 1987-2002, I was a National Sales Manager working for Tropical-Cal/Outlook Eyewear. Strong success in the department store arena with Liz Claiborne, and with I-SKI, and Black Diamond sunglasses in Ski and Sport, I led a team to establish promotions and events at Dillard's, AZ Snowbowl, Sunrise, Telluride, Taos, Santa Fe Ski Area, Big 5, Oshman's, and Sports Authority. After a brief hiatus traveling, I joined the management & implementation team at Backbone Communications to work with Nevada educators providing curriculum, assessment, and professional development tools to improve student success. Focusing on Grades K-12, we implemented successful blended learning tools and professional development plans for over 125,000 students, helping many achieve progress and graduate on time with HS diplomas.
