Managed a 53 million dollar annual operating budget. Supervised 135 TIER 1 Customer Support Engineers (CSE) in answering inbound phone calls, e-mails, faxes and all web centric submission formats to assist customers from field activities with problems encountered with Pay and Personnel software supported by the CSC. On any given day, the CSC processed an average of 4500 phone calls, 850 emails and various other service requests from various media sources. 90% of the service requests submitted to the CSC were resolved at the Tier 1 level. NSIPS is a PeopleSoft based software that was re-engineered to meet the Navy’s unique pay, personnel and human resources needs. Escalated problems to appropriate Tier II entity as required. Served as Technical Lead/Subject Matter Expert for Active Duty NSIPS support. Provided functional requirements to the development team for software upgrades to NSIPS. Maintained database regarding common problems and solutions. Made database corrections to personnel systems to correct pay, personnel and human resources problems encountered Navy wide. Responsible for hiring and terminating all customer support engineers. Utilized REMEDY software to log all service requests.
