Bluebird Publishing is a St. Louis-based Self Publishing company formed as a partnership between Virginia Publishing Company and Big-River Distributions. As the Production Coordinator, I work with clients on contracts, and provide editing, quality control, and proofreading services. I also oversee and manage production schedules, bidding, and vendor assignment.

Virginia Publishing Company is a local publisher which produces regional non-fiction books, public directories, and event programs. It is partnered with BlueBird Publishing to assist people in self-publishing. As the Asssistant to the Publisher, I proof and edit the works submitted to us, update the website, and write pieces for our public directories. I also assist with the distribution of promotional copies of books, management of multiple sources to acquire content for annual publications, as well as fact-checking and research.
