Successful Entrepreneur/Business BuilderI traveled to Ecuador just shy of my 20th birthday to search for gold. At 20, this was my idea of "Where the money is"​. This was the start of an adventurous life following whatever was "Booming"​ in the economy. The goal was, then as now, an early retirement."Traveling in Search of Work"​ has been the vehicle to "Follow the Boom"​ In the span of the last 50 years I have experienced first-hand the Oil Boom in Alaska in 1969, the residential housing boom in southern California, the gold rush of the 1980's, and the current Solar Energy "Boom"​, which will probably outlast us all.In between all this I was a disaster inspector for the Federal Emergency Management Agency for both the Santa Cruz and Northridge earthquakes, one season as a commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska, and a couple-year greywater research project purifying greywater with ultraviolet light.Married the soul-mate of my dreams in 1977. Kicked off the next 38 years together with a 7-week honeymoon in Alaska. Moved onto the sailboat, where our oldest son was born in 1979. The sailboat has been in the family since 1971. We have 2 wonderful boys and one super-grandson.As both Connie & I approach our 70th birthdays, we're doing a lot of research into healthy aging. Particularly exciting are the advances in genetics and nutrition and how they work together. One's input makes a believer of the other. The other has motivation to apply their expertise in a whole new direction.WE WOULD LOVE TO SHARE OUR INFORMATION !Just a wonderful life.
