Helped create start-up acquired by Starpoint Solutions a Day & Zimmerman Company. Equity stake. Created a consulting practice that designs and develops custom software and business application solutions of enterprise scope. Established a new global development model with engineering teams residing at company facilities in Moscow and Kiev, and client-facing activities in the US. Early to establish engineering talent in Eastern Europe from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). Drove practice-wide and per-project worldwide strategy, business development, and business affairs; primarily for the financial services and life sciences industries. Positioned go to market strategies such as predictive data analytics, platform software-as-a-service for real-time decision support, and complex event processing. Created comprehensive proposals, pricing, and pitch strategies. Provided management consulting services for clients.
