I currently work full time as the Systems Administrator for Undergraduate Admissions at UNC Charlotte. I also work part-time as the Cybersecurity Program Manager / Recruiter for UNC Charlotte's Cybersecurity Certificate program, with support from the National Security Agency. UNC Charlotte is a member of a consortium of universities that offers a Cybersecurity Workforce Development Certificate Program to assist veterans and members of the first responder community to enter the field of cybersecurity.Formerly, I led the Recycling and Waste Reduction Program at UNC Charlotte in my role as Program Coordinator. In the past, I was a High School Earth Science Teacher at West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, NC as a corps member with Teach for America, and trained at summer institute in Atlanta, GA.I graduated from Brevard College Magna Cum Laude in May of 2016 with a degree in Environmental Science (B.S.) and a minor in Geology. I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2021 with a Master's of Environmental Assessment, with concentrations in Geographic Information Systems and Atmospheric Chemistry. I'm currently in my second year of study to obtain my Educational Doctorate with a concentration in Higher Education Administration.I also served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years.
