Steve has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has held a range of positions within the Revenue Assurance, Security & Fraud Management arena with British Telecom and with fraud management consultancies. During his time at BT, Steve played a key role in developing their Fraud Bureau Service and represented BT at TUFF (Telecoms UK Fraud Forum) and at FIINA (Federation for Irregular International Network Access) on the Intelligence & Analysis Sub Committee. After 20 years with BT he joined Fraud Management Ltd and progressed to Managing Consultant, leading on key Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance projects before moving into Group Operations. In 2001 Steve formed Telcora to deliver Fraud Management, Revenue Assurance & security services to the telecommunications industry.Steve has worked with telephone operators, suppliers to the telecommunications industry and with Associations within the industry, across many technologies in over 40 countries around the world. In addition to his operational experience gained through his time with BT, in his consultancy role Steve has advised clients, implemented solutions and delivered training courses on Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management and Security matters across a diverse range of products including both post and prepay services in fixed, mobile, convergent and VoIP environments. Steve played a lead role in the development and management of the GSM Association Security Accreditation Scheme and was a lead auditor under the Scheme providing services to the GSM Association around the world.
