Providing management and leadership to GSA Liaison Officers situated within each Managed Quarantine Service (MQS) facility. (United Kingdom requires all travellers from ‘red-list’ countries to complete a mandatory 10-day quarantine period within a managed quarantine facility.)The GSA Liaison Officer is the on-site representative for the Department of Health and Social Care. (DHSC). Manages a Regional Team of officers to ensure the delivery of excellent customer services to DHSC, quarantine guests and wider stakeholders operating within the MQS framework. Works collaboratively with DHSC and contractors to resolve problems and escalate any priority concerns, seeking solutions as required through the correct pathways into government and within stated timeframes.

International Expert helping to deliver the policing Component as part of the Project - Strengthening the Civilian and Democratic oversight of the Internal Security Forces (Turkey). Coordinated the assistance of International Experts to deliver civilian, democratic and fundamental Human Rights training over a 6 month period. In my most recent role, I oversaw a cross-functional team functioning in Turkey to deliver project objectives across infrastructure, methods, operating procedures, training, and knowledge sharing using European Short Term Experts. I fostered improved capability and sustainable change within Turkish Law Enforcement personnel. In addition, I proactively determined areas of improvement along with necessary corresponding instruments to drive operational excellence. My most noteworthy achievement, included:✯ Assumed full P&L accountability for a project valued in excess of three-million Euros.

At the National Crime Agency, I operated as a primary point contact in sharing narcotics intelligence between UK and Turkey, promoting relationships with key international partner agencies. I played an integral role in several key bi-lateral drug trafficking operations which included the monitoring of movement of Opium, Morphine and Heroin from Afghanistan through Turkey and onto Balkan Route. I also detected changes in trends and reporting findings to international agencies such as UNODC and (UK) Analysis Centre to effectively mitigate flow of contraband. In furtherance of these objectives, I interfaced with a variety of external partners and organisations to orchestrate programmes from Metropolitan Police, including Head of MPS SO15 Counter Terrorism Command, Director General of the National Crime Agency, UK National Security Advisor, Permanent Secretary to the Home Office, Director of UK Border Force, and Minister of State for Security. Selected accomplishments, include:✯ Spearheaded a broad range of projects contrasting in scope and complexity in international settings.✯ Appointed Head of the Foreign Law Enforcement Community organisation, representing every foreign law enforcement officer posted to Turkey from 2016 to 2018.✯ Established and retained a strong presence in Turkey throughout and during the attempted coup in 2015, acting in the interest of the UK government to promote resilience in integral and essential European Human Rights.✯ Synchronised conducive professional relationships with community and high-profile stakeholders.

At SOCA, I directed UK assessment and evaluation activities on public corruption, as well as a robust firearm threat programme. There, I authored and composed a procedural manual on SOCA Branch Intelligence Units which outlined the implementation, utility, and governance of these measures. In addition, I was instrumental in scaling and delivering a re-location of Interpol to a Manchester base. I also served as Chairman of the Wales and West Public Civil Service Union (SOCA Branch).
