 Sole responsibility for maintenance and support of the Blackberry Enterprise Server and 200 end users. Improved communications and productivity with BlackBerry Office Communicator and other apps. Sole responsible for back up of network servers. Provided 1st - 3rd line support to an excess of 1000 company staff across Europe. Supported and maintained IT hardware (servers, desktops, printers, scanners and routers etc.) Supported and maintained core systems including Exchange cluster, File Servers, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Backups, VPN and business applications. Hardware builds/maintenance/troubleshooting of Dell Poweredge Servers, EMC CX Exchange storage, Optiplex Desktops, Latitude Laptops, RIS Images. Software support for Windows XP/vista/7. Office 2003/2007.  Support of all data cabling & routing via secured patch panels.

Managed the Helpdesk for a Call Centre Solutions Software Company. Worked within an European team of 8 providing telephone, remote access & on-site support for domestic users at the office or at home/site.  Technical support of all Windows Operating Systems, MS Office & other applications. Installed and configured laptops and desktops using automated RIS images. Checked and maintained hardware and mobile phone inventory. Built, configured and upgraded Windows Server 2003 based servers. Built MS Exchange server 2003 and changed the storage facility. Installed servers into rack mounts and patched network cables around the office. Visited customer sites to install and configure servers, desktop and laptops.  Built relationships with new and current customers to get an understanding of their needs.
