After many years of sales and account management success in the IT/Telecom industry, I decided I needed to start looking for an opportunity to work in an industry that I had real passion in. Photography and graphic design have been passions of mine for nearly a decade, so I decided the printing industry was the obvious decision. In my search for a perfect opportunity, I came across a local employee-owned company that I had never heard of before. The Bernard Group blew me away as soon as I stepped in the front door. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and flawless quality is what truly made the decision an easy one.I decided I wanted to truly learn everything I can about the industry from the ground up, so I chose to start out on the large format press floor and became a "Master Operator" within 9 months. In the 8+ years with the company I have grown through many roles, but for the past three years I have really found my calling within the Color Team. Managing color across our entire fleet for both large format and small format print machines and building the foundation for print quality and color accuracy has become the most engaging role I have ever had. Every day is a new challenge and I love every opportunity I get to truly WOW our clients and educate them in the process.Our company specializes in high-end merchandising and printing solutions for some of the most prestigious retailers in the country. However we also own Smartpress.com, which provides high-end printing for the SMB and online consumer market.

As a Senior Territory Account Executive, I managed all business development for the territory of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC. I did this by building on my national accounts (Marriott Hotels & Lockheed Martin) and current client relationships as well as prospecting to produce new business within the territory.We provide telecommunications and network equipment to businesses and government agencies of all sizes. We have the ability to meet essentially any need as we have premier partnerships with all the major telecom manufactures (Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, Mitel, NEC, Siemens-Unify, Polycom, Plantronics, etc.).The primary objective will always be to make sure every customer I come in contact with walks away satisfied and motivated by the improvements they are making to their networks and phone systems. My second, but equally important objective, is to save them as much money as possible in the meantime.
